Thanks for the welcome. Is your red-belly still young? I am very interested in them. We've talked about possibly, maybe, at some time adding another bird and I would like it to be a Poicephalus of some kind. I've read lots of good things about them all.
The red-belly is high on our list (they resemble a Senegal in different clothing!), but I have heard conflicting stories about them. That they are aggressive when they get older/that they are calm. That they are very shy/that they love to clown around in from of company. A lot of the things I've heard are second-hand, though, so I'd love to hear about first-hand experience with red-bellies, esp. mature ones.

Hi,
I brought home my first bird (a red bellied parrot) and I love him! I
can see how you can love your little Kiwi.
Welcome!
